This is my last week of Insanity…or is it?

I don’t know how to feel about it. Mainly because I may end up doing another week or two until I get the next exercise program. I think it’s going to be P90x or it may be Insanity: The Asylum along with Chalean Extreme. Or perhaps I’ll start doing TurboFire since I already have it. I’m proud of myself for getting to the last week of Insanity and not quitting! I feel that it’s an accomplishment. It’ll be interesting moving on to the next thing if I decide to move on to something else. I really want P90X, but I’m not sure if I am mentally ready for it. Meaning, when I did Insanity I think one of my overall goals was to have better self-control when it came to my diet. I don’t think I’ve reached this goal. My portions are better, but there are times when I just keep eating and eating and eating.

I can tell you one thing, my aunt decided to come in and visit on my last week of Insanity! It’s not fair. I’m just going to be tired, sluggish, and hungry! It made since why this past weekend I just ate everything that I could get my hands on between 12 noon and 8pm of course.

Anyways, this post is short because I’m pretty positive I’ll be doing another week or two of Insanity before I decide on the next exercise program. Also, I know what works for me now. My Fitbit has to log that I’ve burned at least 2,500 calories in order for me to lose significant weight, anything over half pound. That pretty much requires me to be active once I get home, do Insanity, and more than likely T25. I wouldn’t have to do this much if it weren’t for the fact that I eat so much and I sit on my butt for 8 hours out of the day.

Along with fitness, I have to make sure that I have pre-planned meals and I drink Shakeology as a meal replacement for dinner. This is how I lose weight (TOO MUCH INFORMATION). Diet affects your weight loss, fitness affects how your body looks while you’re losing weight. With fitness, you can look 140 pounds when you’re actually 150 pounds. That’s why I like working out. Not only that, but I don’t want to be smaller but my body is completely un-toned. I want to have abs someday, not just a flat stomach (although either would be great at this point). What I am happy about is that I know what works for me. I know what I need to do. At this point, it’s just about sticking with it.
